Al-Harthy

the firm and his colleagues at work. “I am thrilled
to have E&Y backing my racing program; they have
always shown their support right from the start, and
for them to support me in Formula Renault just proves
how lucky I am to work for a firm that believes in
their employees”, expressed Ahmad.
“I
would like to thank E&Y for their support and
belief in our program. We are delighted to be associated
with a multinational firm and for their continuous
support and belief in Ahmad”, mentioned ORT
founder Hamed Al Wahaibi
Philip
Stanton, Office Managing Partner of Ernst & Young
Muscat office said, ‘At Ernst & Young we
value teaming and encourage innovation and thinking
out of the box, in Ahmad’s role as a racing
driver I am sure that he not only highlights these
attributes that are so valuable to the auditing profession,
but furthermore is able to build on them and bring
those experiences back to the office – albeit
not quite as speedily as he would do on the race track!.
All his colleagues at Ernst & Young are very proud
to have Ahmad as one of their team members and wish
the ORT every success with their future racing programme.’
Al
Harthy is also supported by The Ministry of Tourism,
Ministry of Sports Affairs, BankMuscat and Oman Mobile.
This news must come as a boost to the Omani racer
who has just scored his first championship points
finishing 5th out of 33 drivers making him the first
Middle Eastern driver to score championship points
in Formula Renault (BARC) at the last race at Oulton
Park in the United Kingdom.
